  • Driven, coachable and collaborative founder and/or team
  • Seeking workspace for one to four people
  • Dedicated to establishing a foundation in Greater Sudbury


Applications to our Incubation Program are open year-round with small in-person cohorts joining twice per year. Once accepted as a member, you’ll have 12 months of access to specially curated training, networking and mentorship in a collaborative work environment.

Applications are now being accepted until February 28th, and our first cohort will begin on April 5th.

Application Process

Step 1

Complete the online application form below.

This form may take up to an hour to complete. Please ensure you have enough time to complete the form since progress cannot be saved and returned to at a later date. If you’d like to work on your application before using our online form or prefer to submit a PDF form, you can download an editable version of the form here.

Step 2

Upon review, you’ll be contacted by a member of our team to schedule a meeting.

This initial meeting will allow us to learn more about your business model, as well as its current stage and needs. We’ll discuss all aspects of what our Incubation Program can offer, along with other initiatives worth exploring.

Step 3

Following due diligence, a limited number of companies will be invited to meet with the IQ Selection Committee.

During the interview you’ll have an opportunity to pitch your business and engage in a Q&A session. The IQ Selection Committee will be composed of members representing the City of Greater Sudbury’s Economic Development Division, NORCAT, the Greater Sudbury Chamber of Commerce and an IQ Mentor.

Step 4

All applicants will be notified within three weeks of the pitch as to the status of their application.

Terms and Conditions

  • 12-month membership with opportunities to extend.
  • Business must be located in, intending to expand to or willing to relocate to Greater Sudbury.
  • Founder(s) is committed to fulfilling all requirements of the training program, meeting with mentors monthly and actively engaging with others in our entrepreneurial ecosystem.
  • Founder(s) is seeking a collaborative environment and will commit to utilizing the IQ workspace on a regular basis.
  • There is a maximum of four workstations available for the business’s team.
